FBD2 Continues It’s Historical Work with NFNHA

FB Displays and Designs is proud to join Chef Bobby Anderson and the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area in celebrating the grand opening of The Cataract House Restaurant & Academy. The grand opening will be held on February 18 with an evening of food, drinks, music, art, and celebration.

FBD2 designed a collage mural which fuses art by E.B. Lewis and historical photos of the Cataract House. The mural was designed to connect The Cataract House Restaurant & Academy to the Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center, which features a display about the historic hotel, it's African American waitstaff, and their importance in the Underground Railroad. FBD2 has previously worked with NFNHA creating bannerstands to be used within the Heritage Center and at other educational opportunities.

The restaurant space will also serve as a training academy for Anderson’s F-Bites program and a micro art gallery, displaying artworks from local artists. The FBD2 team is honored that we were once again able to use our talents to help tell the proud history of the Underground Railroad in Niagara Falls.
